Handwriting -> Key-writing
I was reading this article which claims that soon enough, man and machine will converge to a single point. I refuse to believe that a machine will get a soul that living things have and hence, machines will always require external force to control them. On the other hand, however, it seems plausible that humans will eventually behave like machines. Take a simple example, that of hand-writing. Keyboards have almost ended our use of hands for writing. Taking down notes by hand has now become an exception. And there by, we are losing the art of hand-writing. It used to be a pleasure to look at some hand-writing which is neat, symmetric and has certain beautiful "human font". It used to be a characteristic that distinguishes people. Now, nobody cares! So, isn't this one way of getting mechanized? After 100 years or so, will humans even try to learn writing by hand? I doubt. So how would a person be characterized? May be as oh, X 's writing is "Sans Serif". And Y's writing is "Aerial".
